The first three aerogenic disinfection systems raX are now in use for the validated disinfection of aids at selected medical supply stores. The handover was carried out by our disinfector Mr. Karmrodt and our service technician Mr. Erdmann.

After reporting the biocidal products, the necessary proof of effectiveness, stability tests and laboratory tests for aerogenic disinfection, we have now passed the next hurdle.

At the beginning of 2020, the company BOGA was able to support a clinic in northern Germany in ending a nosocomial outbreak. By using the aerogenic disinfection system raX, all affected patient rooms and functional rooms were completely and completely freed from all relevant microbiological hazards after the legally required final disinfection.

After some time of device development, gathering experience and accompanying tests, it is done. The beta version of the raX has been completed and is ready for practical testing in the field. Here are the first pictures.

The goal was always the precise nebulization of disinfection products to reduce germs on all and any surface of a room. As part of the EU biocide notification, the disinfection product was subjected to a large number of tests to demonstrate its effectiveness for all relevant applications. This was not necessary before the new EU Biocide Regulation came into force.

After a long path of development around the topic of aerogenic disinfection and gaining experience with many different disinfection products, we decided to develop our own disinfection product. The cause was the dissatisfaction with the properties of existing products on the market.

In the disinfection process, hydrogen peroxide breaks down into the toxicologically harmless reaction products water and oxygen. With a suitable formulation, no residues remain on surfaces. The reaction is purely oxidative.
